Is there any other option like staying in caravan parks, having cold showers or flannel washes?

  We had a workaround for hot water/cooking which worked to run those, but the fridge undid us in the end.

I hope that you an Squiz can let this go soon – life is too short to be that sad + remember there is always next year to explore more of France and now you can find some lovely hidden gems in the south of England that are just waiting to be explored. Plenty of squirrels & bunnies to make friends with. Much love & hugs even though you have packed up your nuts & affections!
